Retired - Contacts with No Updated Email

We want to keep the historical record, but want to ensure that it stays 'in the background'.

If a contact is retiring and does not provide an updated email address for future communications, follow these steps on the contact page:

1. Create a note that includes the contact's name, former job title, company name, and retirement date. For account owners and users, include information about their subscriptions and account status. Don't forget to associate the note with the company and save it.

2. Change the company name in the left panel to "Retired."

3. In the right panel, hover over the associated company and click the X to remove the contact's association from the company page.

4. In the left panel, click on "Actions" and select "Opt out of email." Confirm the opt-out by clicking "Yes."

5. For account owners and users, add the contact to the "Account Owner or User removed – Purge Fields" list under "list memberships" in the right sidebar. This will purge the subscription properties in HubSpot and keep the subscriber list clean.

Finally, update Subdna and delete the retired user.
