Viewing Client Data in HubSpot
This document helps lay out the ways you can access client information in HubSpot.
Logging information into HubSpot is crucial to managing client relationships efficiently.
The Active Subscriber view on the Contacts tab is an excellent way to sort and find clients quickly, while the Client Service cards provide a comprehensive view of all subscriptions on both the Client Services tab and the right sidebar.
The ability to view all of a company's subscriptions in one place on the Company page is particularly helpful, especially for businesses with multiple accounts.
Part 1 - Links to lists and dashboards
Part 2 – Active Subscriber views on the Contacts tab (easiest for sorting and finding clients)
Part 3 – Client Service cards 1) on contacts 2) on company - best way to view all subscriptions 3) via global search.
Client Service cards represent each client's subscription (including expired and unsubscribed services). These cards are associated with the Account Owner and the Company. They include useful information such as Subscription renewal date and Subscription status.

Part 2 – Active Subscriber view on Contacts tab
This view allows users to sort by clients or companies to see those with Active subscriptions.
- We start by adding a View of Active Subscribers to the Contacts tab. From Contacts, click on Add view.
- Within the view, you will see two views for subscribers under Admin Promoted. You can add a view for only account owners or all subscribers (includes owners and users).
I’ve selected Account Owners. This creates a tab on your Contacts page.
- You can search for specific contacts or companies. Here I have searched for FedEx, and it produces three results. The three different account owners from FedEx.
Part 3 Client Service Cards
Please Note: Client service cards are only currently associated with Account Owners (not users) and Companies.
Client Service cards represent each client's subscription (including expired and unsubscribed services). They include useful information such as Subscription renewal date and Subscription status.
Below you will find three ways to view Client Service cards in HubSpot.
1) on Account Owner Contacts
Client service cards are the primary view for subscriptions. They can be viewed on the Client Services center tab or the right sidebar of a client.
- Client Services tab – you can use the blue arrow to expand this center area. You can also sort by clicking any of the column names.
- If you are on the Activities tab, you will see Client Service cards on the right sidebar.
- Each card shows the subscription name, its status (Active/Expired/Unsubscribed), the renewal date, and the Account Owner's email address.
If the subscription renewal date is blank it is either a Comped account or it is State of Freight INSIGHTS (which is complimentary for all Premium subscriptions).
2) on Company
Companies are the only place where multiple subscriptions are aggregated. So, for example, on any Account Owner for Bain you will see only their specific subscriptions. However, on the Company page, you will see all of Bain's subscriptions.
- Like on Contacts, you can view it on the Client Services tab or the right sidebar.
- Right sidebar: Tailored Solutions are custom projects. Subscription status can be: One off (for Tailored Solutions), Active, Expired, Unsubscribed, or Pending.
You will notice that Bain has multiple accounts (22) with different Account Owner names. You can click on View associated Client Services for a simpler view of all the Client Services.
3) via Global Search
You can filter using the Global Search bar. This is the search bar at the top of the page (in the top menu). It is a white box on the dark blue background.
- Type in the contact or company that you want to find in the global search bar. You will see a list of filters on the right side.
- Click on the Client Service filter to only show results for Client Service cards.
